These include management and scheduling of recharging sessions via a mobile app, allowing you to control the recharging process remotely. How long does it take to fully recharge my car?
Recharging time depends on three main factors that you need to understand in order to estimate your needs. Firstly, the size of your “reservoir”, i.e. the capacity of your vehicle’s battery. Secondly, the power of the Wallbox charging stations. Thirdly, how much charging power your car can accept.
Example with a Tesla and an 11kW terminal:
Take the example of a Tesla Model 3 Long Range with a battery capacity of around 75 kWh. If you connect it to an 11 kW Wallbox charging station, the theoretical charging time to go from 0% to 100% would be more or less 7h
It is important to note that this calculation is theoretical. In reality, recharging time may be slightly longer due to factors such as energy loss during conversion, thermal management of the battery and the fact that charging power decreases as the battery approaches full capacity. However, this gives a very good estimate of the time required for a full recharge.
